Sulaiman: Journal of Leadership (SJL) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 150,000 (one hundred fifty thousand Indonesian Rupiah) for each accepted article.
The APC is charged only after a manuscript has successfully completed the peer-review and editorial evaluation process and has been formally accepted for publication. There is no fee for manuscript submission, and authors are not required to pay any charge during the initial submission or peer-review process.
The APC supports the journal's publication and operational activities, including editorial management, peer-review administration, article preparation, online publication, digital preservation, website maintenance, and dissemination of published scholarly content.
Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance or influence editorial, peer-review, or publication decisions. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and compliance with the journal's editorial standards.
Authors who experience genuine financial difficulties may contact the editorial office to request consideration for an APC waiver or reduction. Such requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will not influence the editorial or peer-review process.
Once an article has been formally accepted and publication processing has commenced, APC payments are generally non-refundable. Any exceptional refund request will be evaluated by the editorial team based on the circumstances of the case.
