Withdrawal of Manuscript

Authors are not allowed to withdraw submitted manuscripts once the manuscript has entered the peer-review process, except for valid and acceptable reasons approved by the editorial board of the International Journal of Multidisciplinary Science (IJMS).

Authors who wish to withdraw their manuscript must submit a formal request to the editorial office stating the reason for withdrawal. The request must be approved by the Editor-in-Chief before the manuscript can be officially withdrawn.

Manuscripts that are withdrawn after the peer-review process has begun may disrupt the editorial workflow and waste valuable time and resources of editors and reviewers. Therefore, authors are strongly encouraged to ensure that their manuscript is ready for submission before submitting it to the journal.

Withdrawal requests may be considered in the following situations:

• discovery of significant errors in the manuscript

• duplicate submission to another journal due to author oversight

• ethical concerns identified by the authors

If an author withdraws a manuscript during the review process without valid reasons or without the approval of the editorial board, the author may be subject to sanctions, including a temporary restriction from submitting manuscripts to IJMS.

Authors are advised to communicate promptly with the editorial office if they encounter issues related to their manuscript submission.

IJMS follows international publication ethics guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics in handling manuscript withdrawal and publication misconduct.
