Peer Review Procces

RIBAB: Review of Islamic Business Arbitration implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic integrity of all published articles.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal will undergo the following review stages:

1. Initial Editorial Screening

Upon submission, the editorial team conducts a preliminary evaluation to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s focus and scope, follows the author guidelines, and meets basic academic standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors before the review process.

2. Plagiarism Screening

All submissions are checked using plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of the work. Manuscripts with a high similarity index may be rejected or returned to the authors for revision.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The identities of both the authors and reviewers are concealed to maintain an objective and unbiased evaluation process.

4. Review Evaluation

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on several criteria, including:

  • Originality and contribution to the field

  • Relevance to the journal’s focus and scope

  • Theoretical and methodological rigor

  • Clarity of argument and structure

  • Quality of references and academic writing

Reviewers may recommend one of the following decisions:

  • Accept without revision

  • Accept with minor revisions

  • Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

  • Reject

5. Editorial Decision

The final decision regarding publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations.

6. Revision and Final Acceptance

Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments. Once the revised manuscript is accepted, it proceeds to copyediting, layout editing, and publication.
