Publication Ethics Statement

TORIQIYAH: Journal of Educational Approaches is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal follows the ethical guidelines and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

This statement outlines the ethical responsibilities of all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to TORIQIYAH: Journal of Educational Approaches must adhere to the following ethical principles:

  • Originality and Plagiarism
    Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.

  • Multiple or Concurrent Publication
    Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently.

  • Acknowledgment of Sources
    All sources that have influenced the research must be appropriately cited.

  • Authorship of the Paper
    Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the research and manuscript preparation.

  • Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
    Authors must disclose any financial or other conflicts of interest that may influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.

  • Data Access and Retention
    Authors should be prepared to provide the raw data related to their manuscript if requested by the editorial board.

Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

Editors of TORIQIYAH: Journal of Educational Approaches are responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of published articles. Editors must:

  • Evaluate manuscripts based on academic merit without discrimination regarding authors’ race, gender, religion, nationality, or political beliefs.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding submitted manuscripts.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest with authors, reviewers, and institutions.

  • Take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers involving research misconduct.

Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers play an essential role in maintaining the quality of the journal. Reviewers are expected to:

  • Provide objective and constructive feedback to improve the quality of manuscripts.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all reviewed manuscripts.

  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.

  • Notify the editor of any potential conflict of interest.

Ethical Oversight

The editorial board will take appropriate actions if ethical misconduct, plagiarism, data fabrication, or other unethical practices are detected during the editorial or review process. Manuscripts found to violate ethical standards may be rejected or retracted.

Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the journal will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software before being sent to reviewers. Manuscripts with significant similarity or evidence of plagiarism will be rejected.
