Sulaiman: Journal of Leadership proudly presents its inaugural issue, Volume 1, Number 1 (March 2026). This first edition marks an important milestone in the establishment of the journal as an international platform dedicated to advancing scholarly discussions in the field of leadership studies. The journal aims to publish high-quality research that explores contemporary leadership theories, practices, and innovations across educational, organizational, and societal contexts. This inaugural issue brings together scholarly contributions from three countries: Indonesia, Albania, and Kyrgyzstan, reflecting the journal’s commitment to fostering international academic collaboration. The authors represent six universities and higher education institutions, including STAI KH. Muhammad Ali Shodiq Tulungagung, IAIFA Pare, STAI Al Falah Pamekasan, University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi” (Albania), American University of Central Asia, Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), and Universitas Islam Negeri Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung. This diversity of institutional and geographical backgrounds highlights the global perspective and collaborative spirit that the journal seeks to promote. This issue features five research articles that examine contemporary leadership issues in education and organizational development in the digital era. The first article, “Artificial Intelligence Driven Leadership For Transforming Decision Making And Innovation In Educational Institutions,” explores how leaders can leverage artificial intelligence technologies to enhance strategic decision-making processes and foster innovation within educational organizations. The second article, “Digital Transformational Leadership In Higher Education For Navigating Institutional Change In The Era Of Artificial Intelligence,” discusses the role of digital transformational leadership in guiding higher education institutions through complex technological changes and institutional transformations. The third article, “Servant Leadership And Its Influence On Ethical Values And Collaborative Culture In Educational Organizations,” investigates how servant leadership principles contribute to the development of ethical organizational values and collaborative working cultures in educational environments. The fourth article, “Leadership For Sustainable Development In Building Socially Responsible Educational Institutions,” examines how leadership strategies can promote sustainability values and strengthen the social responsibility of educational institutions in addressing global challenges. The final article, “Distributed Leadership In Improving Collective Decision Making And Organizational Effectiveness,” highlights the importance of shared leadership practices in strengthening collective decision-making processes and improving organizational performance. Through these diverse contributions, Sulaiman: Journal of Leadership seeks to serve as a dynamic platform for academic dialogue in leadership studies, bridging theoretical perspectives and practical applications across different institutional and cultural contexts. By encouraging interdisciplinary approaches and international collaboration, the journal aims to generate meaningful insights that contribute to the development of effective and ethical leadership in contemporary society. As an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal, Sulaiman: Journal of Leadership upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scholarly significance of each published article. With this inaugural issue, the journal begins its journey toward becoming an important international reference in leadership studies, fostering collaboration among scholars, researchers, and practitioners while promoting the advancement of knowledge in leadership and organizational development.
