Authors who publish with the International Journal of Islamic Religious Education (IJIRE) agree to the following terms:

  1. Author Rights
    Authors retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.
    The published article will be licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows others to:

    • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

    • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
      Proper credit to the original work and journal must always be provided.

  2. Non-Exclusive Rights
    Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work, such as:

    • Depositing the article in institutional repositories.

    • Publishing it in a book, provided there is an acknowledgment of its initial publication in IJIRE.

  3. Self-Archiving
    Authors are permitted and encouraged to share their published articles online (e.g., in institutional repositories or personal websites) immediately after publication, with proper citation of the original publication in IJIRE.

  4. Editorial Responsibility
    The editorial team ensures that all published content is distributed under open-access principles and that authors’ intellectual property rights are fully respected.
